Material examined. TEXAS: Edwards Co., 1.3 mi NW of Camp Wood, 16.iii.2017, em. 6.iv.2017, C.S. Eiseman, ex Chaetopappa bellidifolia, #CSE3403, CNC941272 (1♀) .
Host. Asteraceae: Chaetopappa bellidifolia (A. Gray & Engelm.) Shinners.
Leaf mine. (Figs. 55, 56) At the time of collection, larvae were forming pale green, linear mines on the upper leaf surface, with black frass in alternating strips. Due to the small size of the leaves, the completed mines occupied the entire leaf blade and much of the petiole.
Puparium. Yellow; formed outside the mine.
Comments. This is the first record of any Liriomyza from Chaetopappa .
