Habitat. 25 specimens were found under stones.
Locality. Lagoon of Tunisia (36° 48' 24.40" N; 10° 14' 54.53" E), Bizerta lagoon (37° 13' 19.29" N; 9° 55' 49.94" E), lagoon of Ghar El-Melh (37° 10' 09.81" N; 10° 13' 04.27" E), Errimel beach (36° 52' 25.87" N; 10° 39' 57.06" E).
Localities in Tunisia from bibliography. E. celerrima was previously collected from lagoon of Tunisia (Gammoudi et al. 2009; Gammoudi et al. 2011; Gammoudi & Tekaya 2012; Gammoudi et al. 2012a; Gammoudi et al. 2016b).
Other localities in the world. Echinoplana celerrima has a large world distribution since this species was recorded originally from Sydney, Australia (Haswell, 1907), then in the Mediterranean sea (Galleni 1978; Gammoudi et al. 2009); New Zealand (Holleman 2007); Australia (Johnston & Lee 2008).
