Remarks.

Planococcus juniperus was transferred to Crisicoccus as C. juniperus by Tang (1992), but it was subsequently treated as a junior synonym of P. vovae (Nasonov) by Danzig and Gavrilov-Zimin (2010). Recently, this mealybug was revived as a valid species by Wu et al. (2023) based on morphological and molecular studies.
