New peninsula record. “ Mexico: Baja California Norte, Sierra San Pedro Martir, 50 km E San Telmo, 30.961, - 115.697, 30-VI-1980, Bellamy & Wesctott cols.” 2 specimens-UASM .

Note. Larson (1969) mentions the species’ distribution in southern California, United States, very close to the border with Baja California, Mexico. Ball & Bousquet (2000) refer to the species’ distribution in the Sonoran Desert, which includes a small part of Baja California Norte. However, no locality on the peninsula is mentioned in any of the cited works.
