Current name: Platismatia glauca (L.) W.L. Culb. & C.F. Culb. ( Parmeliaceae).

Note: Jørgensen & al. (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 318, 377, f. 35. 1994) restricted Howe’s original type choice to one of the specimens on the sheet.
