Lectotype (Terrell, Taxon. Revis. Genus Lolium: 59. 1968): Herb. Linn. No. 99.11 (LINN) .

Current name: Digitaria sp. ( Poaceae).

Note: Terrell identified the type material as a species of Digitaria, and consequently excluded the name from Lolium .
