Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 120. 1983): Herb. Clifford: 315, Lamium 4 (BM-000646128) .

Current name: Wiedemannia multifida (L.) Benth. ( Lamiaceae).

Note: Mill (in Davis, Fl. Turkey 7: 149. 1982) indicated a specimen in Herb. Tournefort (P) as the holotype but Wijnands rejected this in favour of material in the Clifford herbarium, on the grounds that Linnaeus would not have seen the Tournefort collection.
