Diagnosis.
Female. Body length 7.5–10.3 mm; fore wing 6.2–9.8 mm. Body largely black, following markings creamy yellow: narrow band on inner and outer orbits; a spot on tegulae, paired basolateral roundish spots on T 2, paired basal transverse large spots on T 3 (sometimes connected), and roundish spot on T 6 basally, light yellow spots on T 4-5 usually hidden (Fig. 9 A – D). Apical 2 / 3 of mid femur, hind femur (basal black), mid and hind tibia reddish; spur brown; squamiform pubescence usually brown (Fig. 9 A, D). Forewing, except for apical dark area, largely hyaline; pterostigma elongated, its posterior margin parallel to anterior one (Fig. 9 E). Tarsomere 1 with four long flattened outer spines, slightly widening or almost parallel-sided toward subapex (Fig. 9 F). POD: OOD = 1.18–1.33; F 1 length 5.78–6.5 times its maximum width. Male. Body length 6.2–7.8 mm; fore wing 5.3–6.5 mm. Body largely black, following markings creamy yellow: narrow and long stripes along inner and outer orbits; spot on tegulae; paired roundish spots on T 2 -3 basally (one on T 3 connected) and the entirely face of T 7 (Fig. 10 A – D). Apical of mid femora, half of hind femora, mid and hind tibia reddish; spur brown; squamiform pubescence usually brown (Fig. 9 A, D). POD: OOD = 1.0–1.1; F 1 length 1.5–1.71 times its maximum width (Loktionov and Lelej 2014; Kim 2022).

Palearctic region: Russia: European part (North – West, Centre, East, South, North Caucasus, Crimea), Ural, Eastern Siberia (Irkutsk Prov., Buryat Rep., Zabaikalskii Terr.), Far East (Amur Prov., Khabarovsk Terr., Primorskii Terr., Sakhalin, Kamchatka Terr., Magadan Prov.), Asia: China (Inner Mongolia), South Korea, Japan (Honshu, Kyushu) (Mokrousov 2009; Mokrousov et al. 2013; Loktionov and Lelej 2014, 2017; Kim 2022).
