Current name: Plantago lanceolata L. ( Plantaginaceae).

Note: Although Patzak & Rechinger (in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 15: 12. 1965) indicated unspecified material in LINN as the type, it is not clear which material they intended as none is annotated with the relevant epithet.
