Current name: Saltera sarcocolla (L.) Bullock ( Penaeaceae).

Note: A superfluous name for P. sarcocolla L. (1753), and hence homotypic with it. Although Dahlgren (in Opera Bot. 18: 6, 28. 1968) indicated material in the Bergius herbarium (SBT) as the type, he designated a different type (which unfortunately appears not to be original material for the name) for P sarcocolla .
