Distribution: from the Balkan Peninsula to Iran.
Notes. The synonymy of Lithobius (Lithobius) corcyraeus Verhoeff, 1899 with Lithobius variegatus Leach, 1814 was first proposed by Muralewicz (1926), but ignored by subsequent authors until confirmed by Eason (1983).
