Literature records. Attems (1951): Jiroft (Kerman Province) [“Sabzawaran”] (as Lithobius nigripalpis egens). Distribution: from the Italian region, through the Balkan Peninsula and Anatolia, to Iran. Notes. The single specimen recorded from Iran was described as a separate subspecies, Lithobius nigripalpis egens Attems, 1951 .
