Cultus verticalis (Banks, 1920)

has been reported from Atlantic Canada to Tennessee and North Carolina (Stark et al. 1988). This species often occurs in small to medium sized streams in the Appalachians (Myers & Kondratieff 2009). It is reported from a 3 rd order stream in the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province of northern Georgia.
