Variation. Hind t4–5 yellow (vs. brownish); T2 apically without apical broad triangular black mark (Fig. 5F) (vs. present).
Distribution. Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay (Fig. 18L). Bootstrap analysis suggests that this species occurs typically between 100–500 m, like most Agonocryptus spp. (Fig. 21C).
