Glyptothorax schmidti (Volz 1904)

Callomystax schmidti Volz 1904 ^ZBK: 470. Simbolon Gebirge, cent. Sumatra, Indonesia, elev. 1400 m. Syntypes: (5) MHNG 683.22 (1), NMBA 2827 (1).

Distribution: Sumatra (H. H. Ng, Pers. Comm. 2005). We have examined specimens from Sumatra.

Remarks: This species usually is misidentified as G. major in Sumatra.
