The earliest mention of Phoricheta Rondani, 1861 that I have found in this study using the spelling “ Phorichaeta ” is Phorichaeta Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1889 as an unjustified emendation [ teste O’Hara et al. (2011: 143)].
