Limnellia maculipennis, Malloch, 1925: 332 [Australia. New South Wales: Sydney].
Diagnosis. Palpi black; legs black except fore tarsomeres 1–2 yellow; wings with three distinct white markings in R1 cell (Fig. 7); halters black. Surstyli small, nearly three times as long as wide (Fig. 8); aedeagus with a posterodorsal process (Fig. 9); phallapodeme as a slender process attached to posterodorsal portion of aedeagus (Fig. 9).
