Neopicobia ictericus (Skoracki and Glowska, 2010) comb. nov.

Picobia ictericus Skoracki et al., 2010a: 144, figs. 1–9. Types deposited in AMU, examined.

Type host: Pseudoleistes guirahuro (Vieillot) ( Passeriformes: Icteridae). Type locality: Brasil.

Host range and distribution. Mesostenoxenous species associated with the icterid birds ( Passeriformes: Icteridae): Cacicus chrysopterus (Vigors) and Pseudoleistes guirahuro (Vieillot) both from Brazil (Skoracki et al. 2010a).

Remarks. This species was originally described as Picobia ictericus Skoracki et al. 2010, but all generic characters of this species perfectly correspond with the genus Neopicobia, therefore we have moved it to this genus.
