Campyloneura Fieber, 1858

Camptoneura Fieber, 1858: 309 (junior homonym of Camptoneura Macquart, 1843 ( Diptera, Ulidiidae)).

Campyloneura Fieber, 1861: 388 (new name for Camptoneura Fieber, 1858). Type species: Capsus virgula Herrich-Schaeffer, 1835 (by monotypy).

The genus remained monotypic, containing only the species C. virgula, until the recent discovery of a new species from Cameroon (Konstantinov, in press).
