NBP/NIS material examined. 2 ♂, 1 ♀ from the following sites: Manitoba: Churchill; Northwest Territories: Yellowknife (vi.1952; viii.1952) (CNC).

Comments. Parapiophila xanthopoda was previously recorded in western Canada (including Manitoba) and USA (Melander & Spuler 1917; McAlpine 1977).
