Canthidium dimidiatum (van Lansberge, 1874), new combination

Pleronyx dimidiatus van Lansberge, 1874: 12 [effecively transferred to Canthidium through the Vaz-de-Mello et al. (2011a) synonymy between Pleronyx and Canthidium, explicitly cited in this combination here for the first time]. Type locality: Brazil (“ Brésil ”). Type material: Two female syntypes (unknown depository; originally housed in the van Lansberge and George Vandalin Mniszech collections). Distribution: Brazil (van Lansberge 1874).
