Canthidium seladon Balthasar, 1939: 137 [here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium]. Type locality: Argentina: Córdoba [southern Córdoba?] (“ Argentina, S. de Cordoba ”). Type material: Holotype male (NMPCex Balthasar collection). Distribution: Paraguay and Argentina (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
