Canthidium (Neocanthidium) manni Arrow, 1913

Canthidium manni Arrow, 1913: 460 [here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium]. Type locality: Brazil: Rio Grande do Norte: Natal (“BRAZIL: Ceará, Natal”) [contrary to what was written by Arrow (1913), the city of Natal is not located in the state of Ceará, but rather it is the capital city of the state of Rio Grande do Norte]. Type material: Unknown number of syntypes (BMNH). Distribution: Brazil (Martínez & Halffter 1986a; for some unknown reason, they cited this species was endemic to the Brazilian state of Maranhão, which does not match either the mistaken state cited by Arrow (1913) or the correct state Ceará).
