Canthidium perceptibile Howden & Young, 1981: 85 [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium]. Type locality: Parama: Chiriquí: Renascimiento, 2 km north of Santa Clara, Hartmann’s Finca, 1,300 m, 08°51'N, 82°46'W (“ Panama, Chiriqui Prov., 2 km N Sta. Clara, 1300m, 8°51'N, 82°46'W ”). Type material: Holotype male (CMNC—ex Howden collection). Distribution: Costa Rica and Panama (Kohlmann & Solís 2006a).
