Canthidium flavipes Harold, 1867a: 42 [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium]. Type locality: Brazil (“ Brasilien ”). Type material: Location of syntypes unknown (at least some of them at SMFG via coll. Carl von Heyden. Harold (1867a) stated he had also examined specimens from the Haag collection). Distribution: Brazil: Espírito Santo (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
