Canthidium flabellatum Harold, 1883: 433 [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium]. Type locality: Brazil, Amazonas, Tefé (= Ega) (“Ega (Bates!)”). Type material: Location of syntypes unknown (probably MNHN—ex Harold collection). Distribution: Brazil (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
