Canthidium inerme Harold, 1867a: 48 [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium]. Type locality: Brazil (“ Brasilien ”). Type material: Location of unsexed holotype unknown (originally from the Haag collection; see C. puncticolle for details on this collection). Distribution: Brazil (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
