Diagnosis. From Linsley & Chemsak (1995): “Antennae from one and one-third to two times as long as body. Prothorax with lateral tubercles variable in shape and position; pronotum convex, with callosities; prosternal process narrow, from one-third to one-sixth as wide as coxal cavities; mesosternal process distinctly wider than prosternal process.” Number of species currently included: 22; in Mexico and Central America: 13.
