Lectotype (Qaiser & Omer in Nasir & Ali, Fl. Pakistan 166: 20. 1984): Herb. Linn. No. 1052.16 (LINN) .

Current name: Viola biflora L. ( Violaceae).

Note: Banerjee & Pramanik (in Jain & al., Fasc. Fl. India 12: 17. 1982) indicated 1052.16 and 1052.17 (LINN) as type but as these collections are evidently not part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply.
