Material examined.

Specimens from km 30, Laos-Vietnam border road, Yommalath District, Khammouan Province (Fig. 3A).

Distribution.

Hong Kong, China and Vietnam (Wagner 1907).

Remarks.

Two of the three subspecies, Aphanoconia hungerfordiana halongensis Wagner, 1905 and Aphanoconia hungerfordiana tonkinensis Möllendorff in Wagner, 1907, were reported from Northern Vietnam. However, in this survey, only one shell was collected, so the status of the subspecific taxa could not be confidently determined.
