Endromopoda is a small predominantly Holarctic genus with 11 species. Four species occur in the Nearctic region. One undescribed species is recorded here in Mexico.
Species of Endromopoda are known as parasitods of insects living within the stems of reeds and grasses (Townes & Townes 1960). Most host records are from various Lepidoptera; also recorded from Cephidae (Hymenoptera), Chloropidae (Diptera) and Curculionidae (Coleoptera) .
