Genus Alastor Lepeletier

There are four species of the typical subgenus of this genus recorded from Iran: Alastor darius Gusenleitner, A. iranus Blüthgen, A. xerxes Gusenleitner, and A. zoroaster Gusenleitner. There is also one species of the subgenus Megalastor recorded from Iran: A. esfandiarii Giordani Soika.
