Type locality. Surinam.
Remarks. The claspers form a drooping hook-like extension extending out of the pygofer being bent at an approximate right angle. The basal pygofer lobes are rounded with recurved spinous extensions.
Distribution. The species is currently known from Surinam, Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru (Metcalf 1963; Sanborn 2013). The distribution of the species is expanded here to included French Guiana.
Material examined for new records. “ FRENCH GUIANA / Trou-Poissons, Commune Sinnamary / 04-I- 2015 / Automatic Light Trap, Blue light, / Soc. Ent. Antilles-Guyane leg.” two males and one female (AFSC).
