Taphura debruni Boulard 1990: 219 (type material in MNHN).
Type locality. Brazil, Maranhão, area of Açailândia.
Remarks. The claspers and basal lobes of the pygofer form four prominent parallel extensions from the male genitalia. The claspers are rectangular with an inferior-posterior elongation that terminates in small points. The pygofer basal lobes terminate as a slightly expanded angled process.
Distribution. The species is currently known only from Brazil (Sanborn 2013).
