Distribution. Ethiopia.

Host plant. Unknown. The female from Sebeta was analysed chemically in the search for remaining plant metabolites sequestered at larval stage, but no typical metabolites could be detected (Opitz et al. 2012). Remarks. The wrong synonymy with A. fumosa proposed by Benson (1962) is discussed under this species.
