Neacidiophora athalioides (Konow, 1907)

Distribution. Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Tansania, Uganda, Zaire, Zimbabwe.
Remarks. Neacidiophora athalioides is only known from the male. Its body colouration is similar to N. aethiopica . Both species are especially distinguished in the shape of their penis valves (Koch 1998b: figs 16 and 21). The POL: OOL ratio is 1.0: 1.5 for N. athaloides whereas 1.0: 2.0 for N. aethiopica, and the anterior margin of the clypeus is nearly truncate in N. aethiopica and rounded medially in N. athaloidea (Koch 1998) .
