Material examined.

Brazil: Pernambuco: B2 (6 males); D12 (3 males) .

Distribution.

Argentina, Brazil (AM, MA, MG, MS, PA, PE, PI, PR, RJ, SP), Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Remarks.

In the Northeast of Brazil, the occurrence of this species was recorded for the Caatinga and Cerrado domains (altitude range 60-448 m) (Souza et al. 2013a; Desidério et al. 2017; Moreno et al. 2020). This study expands its occurrence for rainforest islands of higher elevations (altitude range 580-940 m) on Brejo de Altitude.
