Comments. Klimaszewski (1997) described † Vicinilura reposta from a single male from Dominican amber. He suggested that Vicinilura resembles Euphyllura Foerster, though not specifying how, and Ligustrinia Loginova in the head morphology. In the description, Klimaszewski (1996) mentions the lack of a meracanthus on the metacoxa. His description and drawing of the forewing suggest that there is no costal break developed. Based on the absence of a meracanthus and a costal break in the forewing, Burckhardt & Ouvrard (2012) synonymised † Vicinilura with Leurolophus and transferred † V. reposta to the latter. The examination of the holotype confirmed that the species belongs to the Rhinocolinae but showed that a costal break is present. For this reason, we transfer the species to Tainarys as † Tainarys reposta (Klimaszewski, 1997), comb. nov.
