Dilasia contorta (B. White, 1879)
(Santa Helena) n. comb.
Originally described as Lasiochilus (Dilasia) . Description in Reuter’s Monography (1884: 27) refers to “ ... tibiae... margine inferiori dense fortiter et profundis serrato-dentato (as in the present generic key “giving a longer appearence”), ... posterioribus concoloriter spinulosis...”. The presence of spiniform teeth on the fore- and hindtibiae (as in D. denigrata B-W., and D. marianense Usinger) and the smooth dorsal surface, justify placing this species in Dilasia .
