Type species.

Schoenobates pavesii Simon, 1873; gender feminine.

N.B.: considered a senior synonym of Ferchestina Saaristo & Marusik, 2004: 52 (type F. storozhenkoi Saaristo & Marusik, 2004) by Platnick et al. 2012: 37.
