Diagnosis

Moderately to rapidly enlarging, cyrtoconic, exogastric brevicones with compressed conch cross section; mature body chamber gibbous with maximum gibbosity at mid-length, becoming compressed orad; dorsal conch profile straight to faintly concave, ventral conch profile moderately convex; aperture may be constricted with prominent hyponomic sinus; siphuncle situated close to venter, small in diameter, with tubular to fusiform segments, no endsiphuncular deposits known.
