General distribution.

Species recorded from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam; in the Philippines is was noted from the following islands: Leyte, Mindanao, Palawan, and Tawi-tawi; in Mindanao recorded only on the basis of general information (Cabras et al. 2016a); here we provide the first records from Northern Mindanao region.

Habitat.

Species noted from trails along riverine areas, river banks, cultivated corn and ginger fields (pers. obs.).

Remarks.

This species co-occurs with Lophyra striolata in agricultural fields (pers. obs.).
