General distribution.

Species recorded till now from Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam (Wiesner 1992). According to Cabras et al. (2016a) in the Philippines it is known only on the basis of general distributional data; here we present the first records of this species from Mindanao.

Habitat.

Species occurs on sandy river banks (pers. obs.).

Remarks.

This species was observed to co-occur with Calomera mindanaoensis, C. lacrymosa, C. angulata, and/or Cylindera discreta elaphroides (pers. obs.).
