Parodon atratoensis Londoño-Burbano, Román-Valencia & Taphorn, 2011: 715, fig 4. Holotype (Fig. 28): ICN- MHN 17100 (107.5 mm SL), Colombia, Chocó, Neguá, upper basin of Neguá River, Atrato River basin, 05°15’N 76°49’W; C. Román-Valencia, 16 Dec 1987 . Paratypes: ICN-MHN 1584 (98.4 mm SL), collected with the holotype. ICN-MHN 132 (2, 71.5–83.5 mm SL), Colombia, Chocó, Quibdó, Atrato River basin; G. Dahl, 3 Aug 1959 .

Parodon magdalenensis Londoño-Burbano, Román-Valencia & Taphorn, 2011: 721, fig. 8. Holotype (Fig. 29): ICN-MHN 17099 (108.6 mm SL), Colombia, Caldas, Norcasia, La Miel River at tunnel dam, middle Basin of Magdalena River, 05°34‘N 74°53’W. Paratypes: ICN-MHN 16089 (6, 59.7–106.9 mm SL), collected with the

holotype. ICN-MHN 16272 (13 plus 2 cleared and stained specimens, 33.7–74.3 mm SL), Colombia, Caldas, Samaná River, middle Magdalena River basin, 05°24'N 74°59'W; P. Sánchez & L. M. Mesa. 1 May 2006.
