Type depository. 3 syntypes, sex undetermined (RBINS). Lectotype was reported to be deposited in RMNH by van Zwaluwenburg (1959), however Schimmel (1996a) found all three syntypes in RBINS.

Type locality. Indonesia: Sumatra, Mt. Kerinci [ Peak of Indrapoera], 1490 m.

Distribution. Indonesia (Sumatra).
