Remark. In the original description of this species, Schimmel (1993) classified it tentatively in Penia . Later (Schimmel 1996a), he mentioned that P. impressifrons most probably belongs to Pectocera Hope, 1842 . After the detailed examination of the type material of P. impressifrons and Ceroleptus sulcatus, also described from northern Vietnam, we conclude that they are conspecific. Therefore, we herein synonymize Penia impressifrons Schimmel, 1993 with Ceroleptus sulcatus (Fleutiaux, 1903) .
