Dimensions:

Remarks: The species classified as Pattersoncypris angulata by Tomé et al. (2014), Araripe et al. (2022) and Tomé et al. (2022) differ in numerous ways from the holotype illustrated and described by Kr̂mmelbein & Weber (1971). The specimens illustrated by Tomé et al. (2014) are significantly larger and display a much more pronounced dorsal hump than the original illustration. The specimens illustrated by Araripe et al. (2022) and Tomé et al. (2022) differ in their posterior regions, which are not nearly as truncated as the holotype, as well as having a more sloped antero-dorsal margin. The specimens recovered from drill core 1PS-06-CE more closely resemble that of Tomé et al. (2014); as such, they were classified under confer P. angulata, in light of the differences between these specimens and the holotype.
