Distribution. Indonesia (New Guinea Island).

Remark. This species was described in the genus Mazarredia Bolívar, 1887 (Metrodorinae), while latter placed in the section Cladonotae (Günther, 1938b), and finally to the subfamily Cladonotinae (Tumbrinck, 2014) . The name of this species was misspelled by Tumbrinck as “ dorrea ” but the accepted name is still “ dorreus ” as it is a general practice to take the suffix - tettix as masculine.
