Notogaster macdonaldae Fernandez-Triana & Ward, sp. nov.

Diagnostic description. Mesosoma mostly to extensively light (orange, yellow or light yellow-brown); metasoma dorsally mostly dark but with T 3 yellow, or mostly light (orange, yellow or light yellow-brown); gena without pale spot; tegula pale; first two pairs of legs entirely pale (yellow, orange or light yellow-brown), rarely with coxae darker; metacoxa pale; metafemur mostly pale (yellow, orange or light yellow-brown); metatibia mostly yellow; T 2 mostly sculptured. Notogaster macdonaldae is morphologically similar to N. charlesi but it is slightly darker, and it does not have a pale spot on the gena (Figs 14B, 14E).
Molecular data. There are no DNA barcode sequences in BOLD for this species.
Distribution. AK, BP, CL, TK (Fig. 3).
Etymology. Named after Frances MacDonald for her contribution to entomology in New Zealand.
