Caccomolpus amplus Broun, 1921a:590 . Type locality: Glenhope.

Comment. Broun based this species on one specimen lacking a leg and some terminal antennomeres that we located in the BMNH.

Type examined. Holotype (BMNH): re-mounted on point, female terminalia mounted separately on acetate card [left and right terminal antennomeres and right mid-leg missing], “4151. ♀. [in Broun’s hand] // New Zealand. [red underline] Broun Coll. Brit. Mus. 1922-482. // Glenhope. 3.3.1915. [in Broun’s hand] // Caccomolpus amplus . ♀.
